Firemaking is the companion skill of Woodcutting, therefore it's recommended that you train these two skills alongside one another. The primary use for Firemaking is the ability to make a fire and cook things like meat and fish on the spot. In order to create a fire, you must have any type of log and a tinderbox. Players can go to a large open area such as the Donator Zone or outside of Edgeville bank and light many logs in a row. After starting one fire with a clear path to the west, more fires can be rapidly lit. When the avatar is in the process of making one fire, the player would prepare to start the next immediately after lighting the first fire. The only requirement of creating fires would be an empty ground upon which to light.
Equipment
Firemaking equipment can be purchased from the Bob NPC who sells skilling supplies and equipment. Bob can be found inside the General Store north of Edgeville, or you can use the ::shops command to teleport there. You can purchase a tinderbox and regular Logs if needed, however it is recommended that you train the Woodcutting skill alongside this one.
If you're an Iron Man, you can purchase a tinderbox for 213 coins from the Ironman Tutor NPC who sells supplies and equipment strictly for the Iron Man community. Ironman Tutor can be found south of the ;;shops in Edgeville.
Experience Table
Bonus experience isn't being taken into account. The amount of experience that the following logs give are excluding all bonuses. The amount of time it will take for you to reach level X will lower depending on the bonuses that are active.
