Fishing is a skill which involves catching fish from selected spots around Alora. Higher Fishing levels enable different mechanisms of Fishing, the ability to catch a larger selection of fish and increases a player's catch rate. Raw fish may be cooked through the Cooking skill to create food which may then be used later to ether regain hitpoints during combat or to sell to players. Much of Alora's fishing content can be found at the Fishing Guild, accessed by using the ::fish command in-game.
Equipment
Players need the right kind of equipment to catch the fish they want. Fishing equipment can be purchased from the Gerrant NPC who sells fishing supplies and equipment. Gerrant] can be found inside the General Store north of Edgeville, or you can use the ::shops Command to teleport there. In addition, players may also purchase Fishing supplies from the Roachey NPC at the Fishing Guild. Both NPCs offer the same items in their respective shops.

If you're an Iron Man, you can purchase these from the Ironman Tutor NPC who sells supplies and equipment strictly for the Iron Man community in addition to the Gerrant and Roachey NPCs. Ironman Tutor can be found south of the General Store. The Dragon Harpoon is a rare drop that can be obtained from the Wyrms or players. In order to create an Infernal harpoon] you must attach a Smouldering Stone to a Dragon Harpoon.
List of Fish
The following list showcases the fish that are obtainable via this skill. Please note that it's not necessary to follow this level path as it's proved ineffective. View the Level Path section of this page to see the most time efficient method to 99 fishing.

Locations
Below you will find the locations for each fish. Please note that you will find all types of fishing locations throughout the server, however the locations listed below are the most accessible and efficient areas to fish. The majority of fishing locations can be found at the Fishing Guild. There are some fish that are only accessible by Donators, such as manta rays and sea turtles. The higher-tiered fish such as anglerfish and dark crabs are only located inside the Resource Area. This location isn't recommended as it's in the Wilderness and you will most likely die from players.
