Mining is a skill that allows players to obtain ores and gems from rocks. With ores, a player can then either smelt bars and make equipment using the Smithing skill or sell them for profit. Players with high enough attack levels can equip the pickaxes that match the respective metals, but you don't need to equip a pickaxe to use it to mine ores - having it in your inventory will suffice.
Equipment
Mining equipment can be purchased from the Bob NPC who sells skilling supplies and equipment. Bob can be found inside the General store north of home, or you can use the ::shops command to teleport there.
Equipment | Name | Mining Level | Attack Level | |

If you're an Iron Man then click on the link corresponding to your desired pickaxe and see how to obtain it. You can purchase a bronze pickaxe for 1 coin from the Paul NPC who sells supplies and equipment strictly for the Iron Man community. Paul can be found south of the General store.
Locations
Below you fill find the locations for each ore. Please note that you will find all types of ore scattered around the server, however the locations listed below are recommended for you to take to ensure that you're being productive with your time. Please note that you're able to teleport to the Resource Center for the experience boost, however as this is a dangerous training method it will not be listed below. If you're a donator then you'll find many ores at the Donator Zone.

Skill Cape
In order to purchase the Mining skill cape you must talk to the Wise old man NPC and view his shop. Upon purchasing the Mining hood for 100,000 coins, the Mining cape/Mining cape (t) will also be placed in your inventory. You'll be able to find the Wise old man NPC inside a small hut north-west of home.
