Thieving is the skill that allow players to obtain items by stealing from stalls. Stalls can only be found north of home, opposite the bank. In this small house are 6 stalls in which you can steal items from, depending on your level, and sell them to Ali Morrisane who is more commonly known as the Thieving Shop. Thieving is considered the quickest way to earn easy money and is a recommended source of temporary income in our Money Making guide. If you've just created an account or looking for some quick money then this is what you should be doing until you're able to do one of our other money making techniques.

Shop

Upon stealing from one of our six stalls you'll be given an item that you can sell to the thieving shop, the Ali Morrisane NPC. The higher your thieving level, the more money you can make from this skill.

Level Path

Bonus experience isn't being taken into account. The amount of stalls required to reach level X will be lower depending on the bonuses that are active. This is the recommended path for you to take in order to achieve 99 Thieving at the fastest possible rate. You do not have to follow this training route as it's just a recommendation but this is the most time effective method.

Skill Cape

In order to purchase the Thieving skill cape you must talk to the Wise old man NPC and view his shop. Upon purchasing the Thieving hood for 100,000 coins, the Thieving cape/Thieving cape (t) will also be placed in your inventory. You'll be able to find the Wise old man NPC inside a small hut north-west of home.
